We had an incredible time! Amethyst Dunes was the perfect little house for our little family from Oklahoma. The location within the beach was well worthwhile!

Excellent location very close to beach. Love the deck and sitting down out to take in supper at sunset. Noticed dolphins almost every working day! The place was the right getaway and we savored coming back to a clean and spacious place after days about the beach! Kasie Posted: three/29/2025

that island is nothing short of paradise and like 35 miles from this house. all the beaches we secluded and very little people on them. its nowhere close to crowded. cape san blas experienced the most people off the many beaches and even that wasn't what I call crowded". I do recommend bringing bug spray because there are some yellow fly type insects that arrive out within the early morning hours and when the sun starts to established and they do bite. it was nothing that will keep you indoors though. there are a handful of state parks within the area and every one of these are beautiful. beautiful is undoubtedly an understatement for being honest! its a very family friendly place and not the party scene. the people are friendly and their southern draw is just too darn cute. this year was the first time I have been to this area in florida and I will make this a yearly family vacation. working with pristine properties was simple and easy. they're nice and I likely talked to all of them before I actually made it to indian go. there is so much I could say but just pack up and go see for yourself.
